2004 Birthday Party
A Victor-Victrola VV-VI was used as
the birthday cake stand. A pecan pie (although apple pie was Edison's
favorite) provided additional representation for disc records even
though the party honors the invention of Edison's 1877 tin-foil
cylinder playing phonograph (the chocolate cake does, however, have
tin-foil underneath it).
