Phono-Posts

Doug Boilesen, 2024
PhonoPosts are recordings made with
the intention of mailing them. Described as an "early and more
literal form of voicemail" phono-posts are being collected
and archived at Princeton by Voice-O-Graph collector and Princeton
University professor Thomas Levin. The 58th annual ARSC Conference
held in St. Paul, MN was recapped by April Ledbetter and Dust-to-Digital
in Substacks Dust to Digital May 25, 2024 with some highlights which
included the Phono-Post display by Thomas Levin.
