Phonograph Postcards

Postcards with Phonograph Connections

Perhaps my favorite Phonograph Ephemera Collectibles are Phonograph connected postcards.  The subjects on postcards at the beginning of the 20th Century included many new inventions and one of those was the phonograph.  Phonograph postcard themes included Christmas, New Years, Valentines, Love, Easter, Halloween, Happy Birthday, Greetings, Flowered Horns, Faeries and Angels, Marriage, Parades, Fairs, Children, Humor, advertisements for new records, recording artists, phonographs, and a host of other miscellaneous scenes and subjects.

The following are some examples of those postcards and greeting cards that have been used to create short videos accompanied by a related phonograph recording.

Select any of the following and Enjoy! (None are more than 3 minutes).
