F. M. Barney and Ezra Meeker Memories of the Phonograph   Recordings made by Ezra Meeker As told by F. M. Barney for the Edison Phonograph Monthly, September 1912 Mr. Barney had a store In Elm Creek, Nebraska which included some Edison phonographs and records. One day the famous American pioneer Ezra Manning Meeker came into that store. The following is Barney's account of that event and the records that Meeker made on June 9, 1912 while in his store which he called a "message to his descendants."
