A Love Story - Millie and a GEM Phonograph

In Six Scenes From Fliegende Blätter

This six scene Dramatis Personæ story appeared in the monthly trade magazine The Phonogram in June 1900.

The Edison GEM Phonograph was the smallest and cheapest of Edison's Phonographs and was introduced in 1899 to compete with other similiar phonographs already on the market.

Owners of Edison Phonographs could make their own records using blank wax cylinder records.

This story is about a recording that Arthur made for Millie.
